1984 - Eagan, MN. Born amid the turmoil and confusion of new trucking legislation implementing the deregulation of truckload carriers, James Aronson started a new company, a rising star, which emerged to fill a desperate need in the trucking industry for service, technology, and unparalleled customer service.

Transport America has it all - Lifestyle Fleets - (Available in several divisions). Recognizing that driver home time needs differ, Transport America developed the 7/7 and 14/7 fleets to provide drivers with extended home time options, along with a guaranteed TAH program.
• Under the 7/7 program, drivers are out for 7 days and then home for 7 days.
• Under the 14/7 program, drivers are out for 14 days and then home for 7 days.
As part of these programs, drivers share a tractor with one or two other drivers, meaning more home time for you and a more efficient use of equipment for the company, but the additional home time is well worth it.
Transport America Truth

As all drivers know, the biggest question mark when starting at a new company is the number of miles. Pay per mile doesn't pay the bills when you sit. It is miserable when you're away from home and not making money, unfortunately everybody has been there. Voice mail for all drivers, new MCP200 Qualcomm that has navigation, internet, e-mail, in cab scanning, e-logging and text to speech, are all currently being installed on our equipment. Even Driver scorecards with accurate driver performance data is available. Knowing your driver score can give you peace of mind that you are on the right track and if not, allows you to make changes accordingly The company is also using On Guard and Roll Stability technology to ensure safe operations.
