Welcome to 18 Wheels of Justice, Mr. Sabga, it’s nice to finally meet you in person and we are certainly enjoying this South Florida sunshine in January.  I've wanted to learn more about your company since we first heard about you last year.

Bekins of South Florida has been a fixture in South Florida for over 50 years and has one of the best reputations in the industry.  What do you attribute your success too? 

Thank you for having me. Bekins of South Florida has always prided itself in its stellar reputation and our repeat business. We have always put the customer first and receive consistently strong recommendations, testimonials and reviews.

Over 40% of our business is either repeat or referral. Aside from consistently maintaining an A+ BBB rating we were recently awarded Bekins Agent of the Year for 2012 and Voted the Best Moving Company in South Florida by the South Florida Daily Business Review.

Two of our drivers were named Bekins Drivers of the Month in 2012 and we have two prior Drivers of the Year. As part of a group of 200 agents and 1000 drivers we take pride in our consistent performance and our top-notch drivers. Our professional, loyal team, many of whom have been with us for 10 and 20 years are one of the main reasons for our success.

Not at all, we are hiring locally in the South Florida area and nationwide for over-the-road drivers.

Excellent! What is it about Bekins of South Florida that makes it such a desirable company for Household Goods Owner Operators? 

We are consistently an award winning company because we pride ourselves in the quality of our work. We like your style, Mr. Sabga.   Why, in your opinion, is Bekins one of the best van lines in the industry for Owner Operators?  

Bekins is the first name in Moving. Established in 1891 Bekins is the most recognized brand in the moving business and has a long and valued history in the business. Many of the drivers stay with Bekins for their entire careers. The recent Bekins merger with Wheaton Van Lines has only strengthened the company and increased the size of its network.

The Wheaton merger must have added a lot of revenue opportunity for Bekins Owner Operators.  I imagine you only hire experienced HHG Operators.  How much experience do they need and are there other specific requirements?

We do only hire experienced HHG Owner Operators that have at minimum 2 years experience in the industry. Of course, more experience is valued and we do provide training programs as well.
